Brass Stair Nosings

Our range of Brass Stair Nosings consists of premium profiles designed for installation in areas with light to heavy levels of foot traffic. They are suitable for use with a wide variety of flooring materials including carpet, LVT, tiles, timber flooring, and concrete. The range is available with several anti-slip infill options including Ridged PVC, Ridged Metal, and Markagrip Gritted inserts. The Ridged PVC insert has a non abrasive surface, making it easy to clean and preventing grit shedding. This makes it ideal for use alongside more delicate flooring materials while still providing reliable slip resistance in both wet and dry conditions. The Ridged Metal insert complements the appearance of solid brass while allowing concealed fixings, with its castellated profile enhancing slip resistance. The Markagrip Gritted insert is manufactured from aluminium oxide bonded to a self adhesive carrier, providing excellent durability and outstanding anti-slip performance. This option is suitable for a wide range of internal and external applications. Our brass stair nosings are available in a selection of finishes and insert colours, allowing you to create a clear visual contrast between the nosing and the surrounding stair substrate. This helps aid the visually impaired and supports compliance with building regulations and British Standards guidance. It is recommended that the nosing and insert colour differ by at least 30 light reflectance value points from the stair surface to clearly define the step edge. All stair nosings in this range are designed and manufactured by us in the UK at our Somerset based workshop. They are available to order online in standard stock lengths that can be easily cut on site, or manufactured to bespoke dimensions to suit your project requirements.
