General description:

The BR-MNI is a 50mm wide solid brass ridged insert with a 3.2mm gauge. Designed to be rebated into stair treads, it offers a discreet way to define the leading edge of a step and provide additional slip resistance without a traditional stair nosing profile.

Suitable for installation into timber and stone, or between ceramic tiles, BR-MNI sits neatly within the surrounding surface. Its ridged face adds grip underfoot, while the solid brass construction provides a durable finish for busy interior spaces such as hotels, shops, offices and apartment buildings. The insert can also be used within flooring to create decorative lines, borders or transitions between materials.

The BR-MNI is available in Mill, Satin, Polished, Antique Brass, Antique Bronze and Antique Black finishes. Choose a finish that complements the flooring for a subtle detail, or one that contrasts with it to make the stair edge more visible.

Antique finishes are hand applied to create an aged appearance. Variations in colour and tone between pieces and batches are part of this finish, and the appearance of the brass will change naturally with use over time.
