General description:

Our MA1 solid brass stair edging with ridged tread pattern is designed and manufactured in the UK for retrofit applications. Its ramped rear edge allows the profile to be installed over existing floor finishes including LVT, timber, ceramic tiles and stone, as well as directly onto stair treads where no floor covering is present.

Our solid brass nosings are available in a range of finishes: satin brushed, polished and our hand applied antique brass and bronze finishes. This can be selected to either complement surrounding architectural metalwork or provide visual contrast against the adjacent floor finish.

The ridged brass tread provides additional grip underfoot while retaining the refined appearance of a solid metal stair nosing. With a 70mm tread cover and 40mm riser cover, MA1 provides excellent coverage and creates a strong, defined finish to the leading edge of the step.
